At Care is There, our mission is to make joy possible for our elderly clients and their loved ones.
We start by listening to what the whole family wants – often an elderly loved one wants independence and a familiar environment near people they love, and caregivers want the peace of mind of knowing their loved ones are safe. We brainstorm with you to develop creative solutions that meet everyone’s needs. Then we actively implement those solutions, either by performing the services ourselves or by bringing in specialized service providers. No two plans are alike, and all plans evolve over time.
We strive to give you access to all the services in the community in a way that is cost effective and convenient. If we can do the work best ourselves, we do so. If there is a specialist who has more expertise or can offer the service at a lower cost, we arrange an introduction to that specialist and integrate them into the care team.
Does your elderly parent protest that they “don’t need help?” We build a relationship with them based on respect for their choices and knowledge of their strengths. When they meet us in person they realize we are there to empower their independence and will usually agree to give us a try! Over time our clients integrate us into their lives and are grateful for our presence.
