John R. (Jack) Gobble III, known as Jack by his friends and colleagues, grew up in Emporia, Virginia. After his high school graduation from Fork Union Military Academy, he went on to get his B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of South Carolina.
He applied his knowledge to build an impressive résumé. His work experience includes small business accounting, senior administration at a large health care entity, Director of Finance for a large health care entity in Hampton Roads, CEO of an endowment and, most recently, a commercial realtor with CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in Hampton Roads and Charlottesville.
Jack and his wife have two sons and three grandchildren, and they split time between Hampton Roads and Lake Monticello. They enjoy supporting youth and college sports, renovating houses, music, yard work and gardening.
Jack understands first-hand the challenges that come with managing an aging parent’s money, finances, and care. He is an only child and, for over 20 years following his father’s death, he was responsible for his mother’s personal and financial affairs. His mother was fortunate to live in two excellent retirement facilities after her stroke. So he’s familiar with navigating payment and financial management for those with loved ones in a senior living facility.
He looks forward to providing financial guidance for those needing assistance. His experience, both personal and professional, will help those individuals and families looking for financial direction and advice.
