Executive Assistant

Marsha Gobble brings to her role as an Executive Assistant at Care is There a deep and personal understanding of the challenges that come with managing the needs of senior citizens. Challenges that she faced during the seven years spent caring for her mother, and again while helping with her mother-in-law’s care, who lived to be 93 years old.
Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina, Marsha obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. This degree served her well during her time teaching Special Education in Albemarle County and other locations. Like health care providers, Special Educators are motivated by a desire to help everyone they can. It took lots of patience and understanding to serve the different levels of children with special needs.
After teaching for many years, Marsha decided to transform her hobby selling real estate into her second career. In this new venture, she discovered that the kind, compassionate, and caring ways of dealing with children also helped when dealing with adults. Buying and selling a home is very emotional for most people. Once again, a Psychology background and love of people helped her to understand people and guide them through this emotional period in their lives.
Now, she’s embarking on another career shift, using her kindness, compassion, and caring nature to assist seniors in our community live their lives to the fullest. Now is a great time for her to make this shift, as her family grows (three grandchildren, and two bonus granddaughters!) and she explores more relaxing hobbies, like attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, reading, playing cards, cooking, kayaking in her Lake Monticello community, and gardening.
Marsha looks forward to working with Care is There and having the opportunity to bring joy into the lives of others whatever their needs may be.
