Carol Coiner has a huge heart and is very much a “people person”. Recently retired, Carol spent 31 years teaching in the Virginia School System. There, she not only educated her students academically, but helped them navigate the world as they grew. Now, she’s excited to use the skills she developed helping students to help the elderly in her community navigate the changes aging can bring to life. She’s excited to assist people and help them live their best lives.
Growing up in a musical family, Carol played the fiddle in a family band with her parents and uncle for 15 years. She moved to Virginia to raise two children alone. Her children grew up and moved out (they are now 29 and 25 years old), so she had the opportunity to pursue happiness in her own life. She still enjoys music and concerts to this day, only now she lives in Staunton with her husband, son, and kittens, and also loves reading, traveling, and painting.
