CareCalls from Care Checkers are designed to assist families of aging and disabled loved ones by making daily health and safety checkup calls.
Care Checkers offers medication reminders, meal reminders and activity reminders, along with friendly social interaction. All calls are made by live representatives, not an automated system. They keep caregivers updated with daily status reports sent to their email or mobile phones. Pricing is very reasonable, starting at $30 per month for one daily call on weekdays. Weekend calls are extra but are still cost effective.
The Care Checker organization is nationwide, and the person I connected with is located in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Although they do not have people based in the Charlottesville or Staunton Virginia areas who can physicallly check up on a client doesn’t answer the phone and doesn’t have local caregivers, families can collaborate with Care is There to have a geriatric care manager check on clients who don’t answer a Care Checker call.
To learn more at the Care Checkers website, call 1 (888) 477-0435, or email them. I can also help you get connected: Call Elizabeth at Care is There at 434.326.5323 ext 2, or email me.
What do you charge and what is included?
Thx so much!
