When asked about her favorite clients, Liz Hadley, Care is There Daily Money Manager, has trouble pointing to just one or two…because they are truthfully all her favorites. Liz excels in listening to the clients she works with, focusing on the areas that they care about and then leading and encouraging them in accomplishing what is most important to them.
Liz states that she just shows up at her client’s home and asks what they want to work on that day. She lets them steer the direction of their time together. She’s helped a client work on their Christmas letter, helped communicate with tax preparers, conversed with a client about art, helped research future purchases, and done whatever was on the mind of her clients when she went to see them. She doesn’t see herself as doing anything special.
Liz’s client Helen disagrees with that assessment. Helen first heard about Care is There and our Daily Money Management services from a friend, and she’s so glad she did! She describes her Daily Money Manager, Liz, as outstanding, remarkable, punctual, trustworthy, pleasant and full of integrity. You might think Helen is “laying it on thick,” but we happen to agree!
Helen recounts how Liz came in, studied her financial situation, communicated with her tax representative and got things squared away. Helen has peace of mind, knowing that if a day comes when she’s not around to answer questions about her finances, Liz will be there to walk her children through everything.
Helen also told about her dog, Bunny, who adores Liz (and is a great judge of character). One day, when scheduled to work on finances, Helen went to a doctor’s appointment earlier in the day, which turned into a hospital stay. Liz went to Helen’s house, took Bunny out for a walk and stayed with her, even after the time of their scheduled appointment, until Helen’s children could come and get Bunny. Liz’s thoughtful consideration for Bunny that day is just one more way that Liz is a superhero in Helen’s eyes!
Liz is an excellent Daily Money Manager and truly does live out the Care is There motto. Care is There knows that Liz, her fellow Daily Money Managers and Executive Assistants are miracle workers in the lives of the clients we are privileged to help (and if you’re not sure about that, just ask Bunny)!
