Living away from an elderly loved one comes with its own challenges — and sometimes those challenges become considerable concerns. Tom recently came to this realization. He’d been growing more and more concerned with each passing year about his dad, who lived far away from him. His dad’s needs increased as he aged, and Tom and his family decided it was time to move dad closer to them, so they can be better able to help in his dad’s day to day life.
To make this happen, Tom needed a little help. He reached out to his friend, a member of our Care is There team, and she connected Tom with Care is There Executive Assistant, Tiffany McAllister.
Tiffany is an experienced member of our team who excels at assisting clients with big moves, like the one Tom’s dad needed to undertake! She assists with securing housing, helps locate doctors familiar with each person’s unique medical conditions, and works through the pitfalls of transferring Medicare and other benefits from one state to another. With her help, moving Tom’s dad closer is that much easier — so Tom can focus on caring for his dad.
Tiffany is the kind of miracle worker that we love having on the Care is There team. She, like all our Executive Assistants, helps life go smoothly so Tom and his Dad can relax, knowing that all the hard details are being taken care of!
