Lisa Gillmor is talented at many things, but the one that Care is There is most thankful for is her ability to connect with her clients and help them achieve their goals and dreams. Lisa spends time getting to know her clients, finding out what is important to them, like that time a couple of years ago when she discovered how much one of her clients loved helicopters.
After learning about her client’s passion for helicopters from earlier in his life, she reached out to a local pilot and arranged for him a helicopter ride. Then, after learning how much he missed going swimming, she coordinated with a gym that had handicapped access to their pool, so that he could enjoy time in the water again.
Lisa goes the extra distance. She takes her clients shopping, making sure that purchasing the things they need is fun and relaxing. She helps them navigate health conditions, advocates for them at medical appointments, manages personal activities and appointments, and coordinates with family and health care helpers so her clients can attend church services. She brings birthday cake on their birthdays, and takes them for drives in the country so they can spend time on the farm where they are able to connect with friends and the animals.
Lisa cares for her clients like family. That is why she pays attention to their wants and needs, so that they can achieve their goals and dreams. No matter what.
