I am inspired by the commitment and generosity of so many people who choose to work with senior citizens.
My most recent hero is Jaclyn Tahboub, marketing coordinator at Rosewood Village assisted living and memory care community.
Jackie’s brother Mario, only 37 years old, has a rare form of cancer called myxoid liposarcoma. On November 3, Jackie shaved her head to show support for Mario, to bring awareness to myxoid liposarcoma, and to raise funds to help defray his expenses while he is undergoing chemotherapy.
Doesn’t she look gorgeous!!
Jackie’s husband Shareef Tahboub and at least 14 others also shaved their head in support of Mario. You can learn more about Mario and make a donation at www.standbymario.com, the website that Jackie set up for her brother.
Go Jackie! Go Mario! Thanks for inspiring all of us!

Elizabeth – I am so sorry for this tragic loss of a very caring and beautiful woman. She was a bright light and it is so sad that her light doesn’t shine on earth anymore.
