“Home is the best place to be,” says Katherine Lyon, Assistant Administrator and Client Services at the Charlottesville branch of Senior Helpers.
At Care is There Geriatric Care Management, our goal is to help our elderly clients live joyful, independent lives in the home of their choice. Many clients need support to live at home successfully, and companion agencies like Senior Helpers can provide important aspects of that support.
Meet three of the people who comprise the core of Charlottesville’s Senior Helpers office in the following video. Their stories will warm your hearts.
Fred Haar, with the help of his wife Gloria and his team in Charlottesville, work to provide “care and comfort at a moment’s notice” to the community. Prospective clients contact the Charlottesville office and make an appointment for a complimentary initial assessment. During the assessment a staff member, Social Worker or RN will conduct a full nursing assessment. They review the care plan with you to help ensure that they can provide a caregiver that will best suit your needs and follow up with you immediately after the service begins and on a periodic basis throughout the duration of care.
Senior Helpers offers Companion Care, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care, Housekeeping, Personal Care, Live-In Care, Peace of Mind Visits, Transition Assistance, Sitter Assistance and Respite Care.
