The 2020 Plan: Aging in the Community needs your feedback. The goal is to create a challenging, but doable, five-year action plan to achieve the goals and objectives. The first step is to update, shorten and streamline these goals and objectives for readability and action.
In order to do this, they need your help. Your input on the current Goals and Objectives prepared for the 2020 Plan will provide the information needed to ensure that the revised plan reflects the desires and opinions of the community they will serve. Providing your feedback is easy – just complete this online survey.

Originally published in 2003, The 2020 Plan: Aging in the Community is a guide to preparing for the doubling of the senior population forecasted by 2020. The plan was created through an extensive process involving a wide range of community agencies, organizations and individuals. It represents a comprehensive integrated approach to aging issues. It has been 10 years since the plan was published. Now, they are working to update the plan to reflect the current mindset of the community; they would like to complete the update by mid-2015. The first step in the process is to evaluate the progress of the plan, determine which are still relevant and solicit new ideas. Your input is the key to the success of this effort.
